Company history

The company was founded in 1978. as an architectural design company for projecting health care buildings and similar institutions, as part of Public Health Institute of Zagreb city, and it exclusively dealt with services of technical consultation, designing and supervision of construction of health care buildings and similar institutions.

Even today we are one of the rare few with specialized teams in this area.

After the separation from Public Health Institute of Zagreb in 1990, the company does its business under the name of ZO-INVEST s.p.o. – engineering of health care buildings and similar institutions, and after becoming private in 1992, the company is 100% privately owned by its workers and does its business under the name of ZO-INVEST d.o.o. for designing, construction and commerce.

During the privatisation we reconstructed the company and expanded its activities, and also developed modern business approach to market by providing a complete service for the Investors, everything from technological consultation, designing and obtaining the required permits and consents, to the construction of not only health care but all the high-raise buildings.

ZO-INVEST d.o.o. is offering to its clients the services in the following domains:

• architectural design, construction surveillance and engineering of all types of constructions of high-raise building, together with coverage of all trades,
• construction and maintenance of thermo-technical installations with our own personnel and all other works in cooperation with selected sub-contractors,
• design, installation and maintenance of elevators, platforms for disabled persons and stage machinery equipment.

Engineers, who are capable to manage in an expert and high quality manner an investment from the first concept up to the moving into a building or putting into operation, form the framework of our Company.

For each project we form a working group of our designers and, if required, of expert subcontractors, who collaborate from the beginning to the end of the design and performance of the works. We are experienced in designing various types of structures.
